The conventional thinking about "Risk" goes back generations, the basic philosophy has always been: The younger someone is, the riskier they can be because they have more time to recover from downturns. The older a person has, the more conservative they should be because they have less time to recover from downturns. But is this an old way of thinking? Is there a different approach we can take to risk tolerance?
